Dr. Andrew Bensinger D.O.

Dr. Bensinger joined South Jersey Gastroenterology in 2023. Dr. Bensinger graduated from Franklin and Marshall College, where he received a Bachelor of the Arts in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. He earned his medical degree at Philadelphia College of osteopathic Medicine. He then completed training at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Internal Medicine before pursuing subspecialty fellowship training in Gastroenterology at Lankenau Medical Center. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and is licensed to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Dr. Neil M. Cohen, M.D.

Voted Top Doctor in Gastroenterology 2022 by Philadelphia Magazine. Cohen has been named Teaching Physician of the Year numerous times at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Camden. NJ. He graduated from LaSalle University, Philadelphia and received his M.D. from Temple University, Philadelphia. He is a clinical assistant professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ, Stratford Division. He trained at Pennsylvania Hospital for Internal Medicine and the University of Pennsylvania for Gastroenterology. Dr. Jack DeVita, M.D.

Voted Top Doctor in Gastroenterology 2022 by Philadelphia Magazine. DeVita is a graduate of Villanova University, he received his M.D. at New York Medical College. He did both his Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship at MCP-Hahnemann University, where he was chief fellow. He is board certified in Gastroenterology and was board certified in Internal Medicine in 1998. He is licensed to practice in NJ and PA. 

Dr. Jared Lander D.O.

Dr. Lander is originally from the Hudson Valley in New York. He graduated from University of Delaware, magna cum laude, where he earned his Bachelor of the Arts in Biology and Psychology. He received his D.O. from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his training in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology at Lankenau Medical Center in Wynnewood, PA. Dr. Gary H. Levin, M.D.

He trained at the Medical College of Virginia for Internal Medicine and Temple University, Philadelphia, for Gastroenterology. Dr. Gail M Porat, M.D.

Dr. Stacey Zavala, M.D.

Zavala was born and raised in Stockton, California, She earned her Bachelor of Science undergraduate degree in Physiological Sciences from the University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Zavala continued her medical education at University of Illinois College of Medicine and Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia.

Dr. Zavala has over ten years of experience in general gastroenterology with special interest in women’s gastrointestinal issues such as constipation and abdominal pain, gastroesophageal reflux disease, and swallowing disorders.
